On November 4, 2019, the National Health Commission and other agencies issued the "Standard for the Construction of Health Enterprises (Trial)," which encourages enterprises to establish medical rooms or emergency response stations according to specified standards. These facilities provide medical and emergency services as well as health management. The guidelines also suggest that the construction of health enterprises can involve outsourcing to professional organizations.
The health status of employees is a
cause for concern and requires more health support. Nowadays, the health
conditions of people in the workplace are far from optimistic, with issues like
overwork, depression, suboptimal health, and occupational diseases becoming
commonplace. Sudden deaths are also increasingly common.
According to surveys,
the biological age of Chinese corporate employees on average is 5.7 years older
than their actual chronological age. The major health issues they face include
insomnia, cervical spondylosis, lumbar muscle strain, gastrointestinal
disorders, high blood pressure, high blood lipids, high blood sugar, and
significant psychological stress. At the same time, employees place great
importance on the health support provided by their employers.
Seventy percent
of employees consider their employers' health support to be very important,
including aspects such as healthy food, psychological support, medical
services, and physical exercise.
Employee health management has resulted in
reduced employee illness rates, ensuring that employees work their regular
hours.
This is conducive to enhancing the productivity of the enterprise,
boosting employee morale, reducing talent turnover, securing a stable
workforce, and at the same time, reducing the company's medical expenses and
the occurrence of unexpected accidents.
This is highly beneficial for the
long-term development of the company.
